Eudaimon, registered in The Netherlands under Chamber of Commerce (KvK) no. 98546376, operates the website www.eudaimon.nl (“the Platform”). By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to these Terms of Use. Please read them carefully before registering or using any subscriber features.

1. Scope of Use

You may browse the public parts of the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. Access to subscriber sections requires registration and an active subscription (free or paid). You may not use automated systems, bots, or scraping tools to copy or extract content, nor interfere with the Platform’s functionality.

2. Accounts and Subscriptions

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
• You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity under your account.
• Do not share your account or allow others to use it.
• Eudaimon may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or applicable law.
• If subscription fees apply, they are stated clearly before purchase; payments are handled securely by our payment provider.
• Paid subscriptions renew automatically each billing cycle (monthly or annually, depending on your plan) until cancelled through your account or by contacting us.
• You will receive an email confirmation of each subscription or renewal.
• Once payment is completed, access to digital subscriber content begins immediately. By confirming your purchase, you expressly agree that access starts right away and acknowledge that you waive your statutory right of withdrawal under Article 16(m) of the EU Consumer Rights Directive.

3. Intellectual Property

Eudaimon Index™ and Temple of Eudaimonia™, including their frameworks, designs, and related materials, are original concepts developed by Eudaimon.

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to text, images, music, artwork, video, software code, databases, and design elements — is protected by copyright, trademark, database, and other intellectual-property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, or commercially exploit any part of this content without prior written permission.

Bonus materials such as the Stoic Primer, Eudaimon Ledger, 30 Days into a Stoic Practice, Scientific Addenda, and Ornaments are provided for personal, non-commercial study and may not be copied, shared, or redistributed.

4. User-Generated Content

If the Platform allows you to post, upload, or submit content (e.g., comments, profiles, materials):

• You retain ownership of your content but grant Eudaimon a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, display, and distribute it for operating the Platform.
• You must ensure your content does not infringe third-party rights or contain unlawful, offensive, or harmful material.
• We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

5. Electronic Communication

By creating an account or contacting us electronically, you consent to receive communications electronically (email or in-app). Such communications satisfy any legal requirement that they be in writing.

6. Third-Party Content and Services

The Platform may include links or embeds from third-party services (e.g., YouTube, Instagram, payment processors). Eudaimon is not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Use of third-party services is at your own risk.

7. Idea Submission

Please do not send unsolicited ideas or creative works. If you do, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, or publish them in any media without obligation or confidentiality.

8. Educational Purpose

All texts, essays, exercises, and bonus materials are provided for philosophical and educational reflection only. They are not medical, psychological, therapeutic or financial advice, and should not replace professional care or counselling.

9. Limitation of Liability

While we make reasonable efforts to ensure that the Eudaimon Platform is accurate, secure, and available, it is provided “as is” and “as available.”

To the maximum extent permitted by Dutch law, Eudaimon and its owner accept no liability for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to:

• your access to or use of the Platform,
• your inability to use the Platform,
• any errors, interruptions, or data loss, or
• reliance on any information or content provided through the Platform.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion would be unlawful (for example, liability for intentional misconduct or gross negligence). In any event, the total aggregate liability of Eudaimon and its owner shall not exceed the amount you have paid (if any) for access to the Platform during the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Eudaimon and its owner from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with:

• your use or misuse of the Platform,
• your breach of these Terms, or
• your violation of any law or third-party rights.

This obligation shall survive termination of your account or cessation of your use of the Platform. In short: we do our best to provide a reliable platform, but we can’t be held responsible for losses caused by how you use it.

11. Privacy and Cookies

Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. These documents explain how we handle data collected through your account and through cookies.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Platform, or where required by law. You may terminate your account at any time through your user settings or by emailing us.

13. Refunds & Cancellations

You may cancel your subscription at any time via your account page or by contacting us at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not generate refunds for completed billing periods. Because access to digital content begins immediately, payments are non-refundable once activated, except where required by law or in cases of technical or billing error. If an error occurs, please contact us within 14 days for correction.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of The Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the competent courts in The Netherlands.

15. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be indicated by updating the version date on this page or by posting a notice on the Website. Continued use of the Website constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
